Discord, but it can't read your messages.

A fast native Rust text and voice chat app. Post-quantum encrypted servers and not a single ad or tracker.

In open beta for Windows, macOS, iOS and Android. Hit a bug? Send beta feedback.

Built so the server has nothing to read.

Hexis relays ciphertext it holds no keys to. Everything else on this page follows from that one decision.

Encrypted end to end, everywhere

Direct messages run on double-ratchet sessions. Server channels use per-sender keys. The relay stores ciphertext it can't open.

Voice nobody overhears

Every speaker's audio is SFrame-encrypted with keys that rotate when someone joins or leaves. The relay forwards frames it can't decrypt.

Sealed against quantum computers

Each key handoff is wrapped with ML-KEM-768, so traffic captured today stays unreadable later.

Native everything

The desktop app is native Rust, no Electron: about 50 MB of RAM at idle, under 100 MB on disk, and it opens in under a second. The mobile apps are native to iOS and Android, built for speed and battery life.

Low latency by construction

20 ms Opus frames in roughly 130-byte datagrams, one UDP send through a direct relay. Your game keeps its frames.

No ads, no trackers, nothing to sell

No analytics or tracking SDKs. And with everything encrypted, there is nothing readable left to mine anyway.

Everything you'd expect. Nothing you'd have to think about.

Servers, DMs, voice, screen sharing, and files — all end-to-end encrypted, in a native app. Here's what's in the beta today.

Servers & channels

Text and voice channels grouped into sections, with roles, per-channel permissions, invite links, and slowmode when a room gets loud.

Direct messages & friends

One-to-one chats with the same replies, reactions, and attachments as channels. Friend requests, a friends list, and who's online.

Voice chat

Low-latency voice rooms with push-to-talk or open mic, mute and deafen, and speaking indicators — built for gaming and hanging out.

Screen sharing

Share your screen, with its audio, to everyone in a voice channel — up to 720p at 60 fps during the beta.

Photos, files, GIFs

Drop images and files into any conversation, pick GIFs and stickers, add your server's own emoji, and get link previews inline.

Replies, reactions, pins, search

Reply to a message, react with emoji, edit or delete, pin the important ones, and search a server or DM to find them again.

Notifications you control

Mute a channel, a section, a server, or a DM. Do Not Disturb when you need quiet. Push notifications on your phone that keep your messages private.

Native on every platform

Mac, Windows, iOS, and Android apps, with your account on all of them at once and multiple accounts side by side.

Moderation tools

Kick, ban, and time out members; an audit log of who did what; and AutoMod rules that block or time out on their own.

Pricing during the beta

Payments are switched off while Hexis is in beta. Every account gets Core features for free — screen sharing and larger uploads included. Paid plans come back when the app goes live.

Want to support Hexis now? The Founder tier — Pro for life and a numbered Founder N/500 badge — is still available. Email support@hexis.chat and we'll sort it out by hand.
